An Acne -Diet for You
Many doctors say that the foods we eat don't have anything to do with acne, but according to a new Australian study the results show differently.
For young men, ages 15-25, for three months changed their diet from eating high-glycemic-index foods such as soft drinks, candy, and white bread. The result showed that acne improved dramatically for the youth.
This study shows the first real evidence that reducing the amount of sugar intake can greatly improve breakouts.
Foods that are sugary or processed tend to spike insulin, which affects hormones in ways that encourage the growth of pimples.
A hint for those, especially teens, prone to acne: Eat whole grains, legumes, more fruits and vegetables, drink more water, and you might be able to keep those awful zits away!
